For 27 years, the kitchen was Keith Famie's second home. He spent countless hours at the stove in restaurants he helped manage or owned. For the last 17 years, Famie has been on a different journey as a film director/producer, telling inspirational stories for PBS on a wide range of topics at his company Visionalist Entertainment Productions.

Finally, Famie is going back to his roots to tell a story of our beloved Motor City culinary heritage in "Detroit: The City of Chefs."

In the last two days, we were able to film with six extremely influential culinarians who will help tell the story of those who have had a significant impact on cooking in Detroit and Michigan:
