We were back at Schoolcraft College today visiting student Chefs Novirah Lone and Mia Johnson. We’ve been filming with these two students since the beginning of the production and have been following them through their educational journey over the course of this year.

Today, we had the opportunity to film what a typical culinary class looks like located in the Vistatech Center. Chef Novirah was in her Charcuterie Class with professor Chef Brian Polcyn, CEC, making a Spanish inspired pie with chorizo sausage and Chef Mia was in an International Class instructed by professor Chef Brian Beland, CMC, preparing a shrimp and tuna ceviche. We are excited to feature their stories as a representation of the next generation of dynamic chefs that are being taught and trained by some of Detroit's award-winning chefs.
